Do you want to belong to a church that welcomes and nurtures those who know Jesus Christ, as well as those who do not yet know Him?
At Saint Matthews, to serve is the opportunity to utilize your talents and spiritual gifts to enhance the worship experience. It is an integral part of the livelihood of the church.
Located in historic southeast Greensboro, Saint Matthews United Methodist Church has been an integral part of the community for over 150 years.
Today, Saint Matthews strives to bridge generational and spiritual gaps through prayer, faith and ministry. Under the leadership of Reverend Tamara M. Ingram, Senior Pastor and Reverend Torey Haynes, Associate Pastor, our mission is to nurture our members, reach out to others and witness to the Glory of God through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
We invite you to visit our church and worship with us so you can experience just all that Saint Matthews has to offer.
"Saint Matthews UMC is an inclusive, vibrant church community that exists to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ."
- Rev. Tammy Ingram
