SMUMC recycling initiative

The Church and Society Committee reminds you to please recycle. Recycling bins have been placed at two locations within the church. One bin is located next to the door leading from the main building to the Fellowship Hall. The other bin is usually located in or just outside of the Fellowship Hall. There are also two large, brown receptacles outside of the building next to the trash dumpster. Recycling and other environmentally safe efforts support a healthy and sustainable future. Here are some tips: purchase energy efficient products, hybrid cars or eat inside restaurants instead of burning gas at the drive-thu. For more information visit www.climatecrisis.net.

Casual dress months at St. Matthews

As in previous years, the months of “Jubilant” June, “Joyful” July, and “Awesome” August, will be observed as (3) three months of spiritual celebration, casual dress, and a wonderful time to invite FRAN (friends, relatives, associates, and neighbors).

So come as you are and be clothed by the Holy Spirit. During the month of July, there will be one worship service at 10am.
