Creation Care Ministry is a new “green” ministry at Saint Matthews UMC that focuses on caring for God’s creation, Earth. Earthkeepers trains United Methodists in the United States to start and grow environmental projects and equips participants to develop projects that address environmental concerns in their churches and communities.
A training session is scheduled for Feb. 8-9 in Southport, North Carolina. The fee to attend is $30 per person.

ST. MATTHEWS UNITED METHODIST MEN PRESENTS THEIR “42ND ANNUAL THANKSGIVING MUSICAL”. The concert is Sunday, November 24th at 4 pm in the Sanctuary.
The theme is “Everyone Bring A Can”. The UMM are asking attendees to bring canned goods or other packaged non-perishable food items to the concert for the Church’s Food Pantry. The offering during the celebration will also go towards stocking the Food Pantry.

The Saint Matthews UMC Enrichment Board is sponsoring a STEAM Summer Camp, June 17–July 26, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., for ages 7–13. Come join us for fun, excitement, challenging education and special activities – including robotics, computer coding, science, engineering, creative writing, dance, drama, rocket firing 3D printing, swimming and educational field trips – that will be adapted to age levels. The cost to attend is $75 per week for each participant plus a $45 registration fee.
