Faith Talks: Racism in the Church and Standing Against it Together (Aug. 9 and Aug. 16)

Join us Sunday, Aug. 9, and Sunday, Aug. 16, 4-5:15 p.m., for a two-session virtual event with Saint Matthews UMC and West Market Church that addresses racism in the church. Screening Mammogram Available for Uninsured Women

Solis Mammography has a value screening program that covers an annual screening mammogram (2D or 3D) and image interpretation for uninsured women who are not eligible for Medicare or Medicaid. COVID-19 Free Testing Sites

Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine has partnered with others to offer community COVID-19 drive-up testing sites. Tests are free, but registration is required.

  • July 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. – East Market Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1804 E. Market Street; register July 16-20

Sundae on a Sunday Challenge

To replace our traditional “Sundae on a Sunday” gathering, the Shepherding Ministry built a virtual frame around an ice cream dessert made from scriptures. Thanks to those that participated by sending in your favorite scriptures.

2020 Independence Day Holiday Observance

The church office will be closed on Thursday, July 2, in observance of Independence Day. Tithes and offerings will be counted Monday (June 29) instead of Wednesday. Announcements for the bulletin are due in the office by 2 p.m., Monday, June 29.
