The Saint Matthews United Methodist Church Outreach Ministry needs your support through monetary donations to purchase book bags/backpacks and supplies for local schools in our community: Gillespie Park Elementary, Jackson Middle School and Grimsley High School. The purchased items will be presented at the Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 16.

To honor or give in memory of an educator, email Ramona Miller with your educator’s name and/or short message for the students. 

Please submit your financial donations to Saint Matthews United Methodist Church by Sunday, Aug. 3, in one of the following ways:

• On Saint Matthews UMC’s website, https://stmattchurch.com/
• In person during a worship service on or before Aug. 3
• Present your donation to an Outreach Ministry co-chair, Ramona Miller or Jimmie Gravely (see Sunday Bulletin for contact information)

Please reference BOOK BAG DRIVE on your donation, either by selecting it on the church website, listing it on your offering envelope, or by noting it on the memo line of your check/money order.

Only financial donations will be accepted. The committee will purchase the book bags and supplies in bulk.
