A farewell reception in honor and appreciation of Rev. Rodvegas M. Ingram Sr. will be Saturday, June 14, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Coley Hooker Jr. Fellowship Hall.
Effective July 1, Pastor Ingram will serve as Northern Piedmont District Superintendent of the Western North Carolina Conference. He will succeed Rev. Bev Coppley who will conclude her term as District Superintendent on June 30 to begin a new appointment.
Ingram has served Saint Matthews UMC since 2021. His pastoral career began at Collins Grove UMC (Greensboro), followed by St. John UMC (Eden), Chapel Hill UMC (Reidsville), Salem UMC (Reidsville) and Memorial UMC (High Point).
