“Let’s Talk Race” Prerequisite Sessions (Jan. 21)

A brief prerequisite to special sessions on “LET’S TALK RACE: Creating Sacred Spaces for Cross Cultural Conversations” will occur Sunday, Jan. 21, immediately following the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services in room 20, Ms. Albertina McGirt, facilitator, and in Bethea Chapel, Mrs. Ernestine Taylor, facilitator, respectively. The objectives are to roll-out overview and objectives, identify program specifics and model, describe the partnering process, and provide question samples to start courageous conversations.


The success of this race relations endeavor depends upon participation between Saint Matthews and West Market Street UMC members. Christian talks shall lead to understanding and dismantle walls that divide us. Please sign-up and signature sheets are available on the information table in the narthex.
